This whiskey was distilled and laid down on the Midleton Distillery in 1992.
As is the age - old tradition of crafting Single Pot stills from a mash of both Malted and Unmalted Irish Barley.
The distillate, one of numerous pot still styles produced at Midleton Distillery, is categorised as one of medium weight. Crafted by Midleton Master Distiller, Brain Nation, the style is a more delicate version of the traditional Pot Still Whiskey spirits produced since 1825 at Midleton Distillery.
In creating this edition of Midleton Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, one refill bourbon cask was hand selected by the Master Distiller for The Irish Whiskey Collection. The whiskey was filtered to remove wood char prior to being bottled at 56% abv.
Only 120 bottles have been made worldwide!"
