"Port Ellen is one of the three main villages on Islay. The distillery was founded in 1925, expanded in 1967 and in 1973 a large drum maltings complex was built on the adjacent site. The distillery has been closed since 1983, making it one of the most sought after Single Malt Whiskies.
A beautifully balanced Islay Malt - sweet, peaty elements balanced with fresh fruit notes and a drying, spicy character."
