On Saturday, January 10th, World Wine & Whisky had the privilege of attending the New Year’s reception 2026 hosted by Kroymans in Hilversum — an evening where automotive excellence and refined taste came together at the highest level.
Kroymans, known as the official dealer of iconic brands such as Ferrari, Land Rover and Aston Martin, curated an event that perfectly reflected the prestige of its portfolio. The reception brought together a carefully selected group of partners and clients, all operating within the top tier of the luxury segment.
An intimate Glenfiddich tasting experience
A central highlight of the evening was an exclusive Glenfiddich tasting, hosted by Henrik Krijnen alongside James Chaib, brand ambassador for Glenfiddich and The Balvenie. Guests were guided through a refined selection of expressions, each showcasing the heritage and craftsmanship of one of Scotland’s most respected distilleries.
The tasting created an intimate setting where stories, flavors and expertise came together — offering guests a deeper appreciation of premium whisky.

Among the most talked-about expressions of the evening was the Glenfiddich 16 Years Old – Aston Martin Formula One™ Team Edition. This limited release, developed in collaboration with the Aston Martin F1 team, symbolized the perfect blend of precision, innovation and performance.

A rare showcase: Glenfiddich 48 years old 2025 edition
Equally remarkable was the presentation of the Glenfiddich 48 Years Old 2025 – Aston Martin Edition. With only 50 bottles available worldwide, this expression represents the absolute pinnacle of rarity and exclusivity.
Guests were given the rare opportunity to admire this exceptional whisky up close. Notably, the bottle had already been secured by one of our private clients prior to the event — further underlining its exclusivity.
