At World Wine & Whisky, we are currently working on the most exciting project in our company's history: our very first Private Cask from one of Scotland's most iconic distilleries.
While we are keeping most details under wraps for now, we can already reveal that this exceptional cask is currently at least 24 years of age and, depending on the final bottling date, may even be released as a 25-year-old whisky.
This exclusive bottling is being created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of World Wine & Whisky on 1 July 2027. It is also expected to become the very first Private Cask release from this iconic Scottish distillery for the Dutch market, a remarkable milestone that makes this project even more special.
Having tasted the cask ourselves, we can honestly say it is an outstanding whisky with remarkable depth, elegance and character.
With only a very limited number of bottles expected to be available, this will be an exceptionally exclusive release. Rare Private Cask bottlings from renowned Scottish distilleries are highly sought after by collectors around the world and often attract significant interest long after their initial release.
