For at least 30 years, the whisky quietly matures in a combination of Spanish Oloroso sherry and American bourbon oak casks. Age alone, however, is not enough. Every cask considered for Glenfiddich 30 Years Old is personally nosed and tasted by the Malt Master, with only those meeting Glenfiddich's exacting standards selected and married together. The result is a beautifully controlled balance between mature oak, fruit, sherry richness and honeyed warmth.
