After more than two decades of maturation in traditional oak casks, the whisky is finished in carefully selected Port wine casks, personally overseen by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE. This finishing process adds remarkable depth and elegance, introducing rich layers of dried fruits, dark chocolate, honeyed sweetness and gentle spice, complemented by a silky texture and a long, warming finish.

Located in the heart of Speyside, The Balvenie is one of the very few distilleries to grow its own barley, malt it on traditional malting floors, maintain its own cooperage and employ an on-site coppersmith — ensuring complete control over every stage of whisky production.
