"Benromach 1978. Founded in 1899 near Forres, Benromach employed a mash-tun unusually made of wood. Often silent in its early years, it nonetheless remained active until 1983.
To enjoy at its best this centenary bottling of a 19 year old cask-strength single malt, measure one part whisky to two parts still water at room temperature. Any slight cloudiness is normal in unfiltered cask-strength malt. A full golden yellow colour and ripe, flowery aromas entice you into a big, almond-flavoured, creamy and round-bodied Speyside malt with a crisp, dry finish."
