GlenAllachie 35 Years Old 1990 2025 Cask Strength

Three and a half decades in the making, The GlenAllachie 35 Years Old 1990/2025 Cask Strength stands as one of the distillery’s most remarkable and luxurious creations to date. Masterfully crafted by legendary Master Distiller Billy Walker, this exceptionally limited Speyside single malt represents the pinnacle of over fifty years of expertise in cask selection, maturation and blending.

Distilled in 1990 and bottled at natural cask strength of 50.2%, this extraordinary expression unites four distinguished cask types in perfect harmony: rare Mizunara Virgin Oak, American Virgin Oak, Oloroso Sherry and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks. At the heart of this release lies the revered Mizunara oak — an elusive Japanese oak sourced from 200-year-old trees and celebrated for its exotic complexity, delicate sandalwood character and subtle incense-like spice.

Balancing the elegance of Mizunara with the rich depth of sherry maturation and the warming influence of virgin oak, Billy Walker has created an exceptionally layered and sophisticated whisky. Luxurious notes of mocha, cocoa, toasted hazelnuts and candied cinnamon develop into waves of dark fruits, creamy vanilla, honeycomb and warming baking spices, before leading into an endlessly long and refined finish.

Bottled non-chill filtered and with natural colour, this 35-year-old release offers whisky in its purest and most uncompromising form — rich, powerful and beautifully complex.
The presentation is equally exceptional. Inspired by the intricate Japanese woodworking art of Kumiko, the bespoke Valchromat presentation box and handcrafted wooden case reflect the same precision, artistry and patience found within the whisky itself. Each detail pays tribute to the four cask types that shaped this extraordinary single malt, while honouring both Scottish craftsmanship and Japanese influence.

An outstanding collector’s release from The GlenAllachie — rare, elegant and truly unforgettable.
