Hibiki Japanese Harmony 2026 – Chiso Collaboration Limited Edition
Where Japanese whisky meets centuries of artistry.
The Hibiki Japanese Harmony 2026 Limited Edition brings together two extraordinary Japanese houses in a celebration of craftsmanship, nature and time. Created in collaboration with Chiso, the legendary Kyoto kimono house founded in 1555, this highly collectable release transforms Hibiki's iconic bottle into an exquisite expression of Japanese artistry.
For nearly 470 years, Chiso has preserved and evolved the art of Japanese kimono making. Renowned for its mastery of Kyo-Yuzen dyeing, the house combines centuries-old craftsmanship with an enduring appreciation of colour, nature and the changing seasons. For this special collaboration, that artistic heritage has been reimagined across Hibiki's unmistakable 24-faceted bottle, whose facets represent the 24 traditional Japanese micro-seasons.
The design is alive with richly coloured Japanese flowers and plants, each carrying its own symbolism. Tachibana, an evergreen citrus, represents enduring prosperity, while kiri – the paulownia – signifies good fortune and nobility. Sakura celebrates renewal and the fleeting beauty of the seasons, complemented by ume plum blossom and tsubaki camellia as symbols of longevity and timeless vitality. Gold, crimson, emerald, indigo and delicate blush tones complete a design that feels unmistakably Japanese.
Inside is the celebrated Hibiki Japanese Harmony, a harmonious Japanese blended whisky bottled at 43% ABV. Its amber appearance gives way to an elegant nose of honeyed sweetness, candied orange peel and white chocolate. The palate reveals delicate rose and lychee alongside rosemary, mature oak and sandalwood, before developing into a refined, lingering finish with a subtle touch of Japanese Mizunara oak.
Following Hibiki's previous artistic collaborations with Eriko Horiki and Hiroshi Senju, the 2026 Chiso Collaboration continues the House of Suntory's tradition of presenting Japanese whisky through the country's finest artistic disciplines.
More than simply a limited-edition presentation of Hibiki, this release brings together the art of Japanese whisky blending and almost five centuries of kimono craftsmanship. A striking collector's piece in which two Japanese legacies meet – created to celebrate beauty, harmony and the passage of time.
