The Highland Queen Century Edition holds a bottle of the Highland Queen Majesty Limited Edition 52yo Highland Single Malt, and a bottle of the Highland Queen 1651 50yo blended Scotch Whisky.
Together these whiskies represent over a century of tradition and passion which have gone into creating these sublime whiskies.
Highland Queen Majesty 52yo Highland Single Malt is from our last three casks, which were distilled in december 1962 and bottled in January 2015. Aged in oak casks in our warehouses for 52 years, only 500 bottles could be produces from these three casks, the angels having taken more than their fair share of this superb malt over the years.
Highland Queen 1651 50yo blended whisky has been created by our master distiller from our two remainings casks of 1964 Highland Single Malt, which have been married with different grain whiskies from both the Invergorden and now closed Port Dundas distilleries. After blending we have recessed the whisky into brand new sherry butts for an additional 6 months to allow the whiskies to marry together perfectly to achieve what is an amazingly smooth and complex Scotch Whisky. Only 500 bottles have been made."
